Tilt Trailer Covers
Sapphire Curtains manufactures bespoke tilt trailer covers for both new-build and replacement applications. Designed to suit removable tilt trailer frameworks, our PVC covers are manufactured to customer requirements using supplied drawings, existing covers, measured dimensions or the trailer itself.
Unlike conventional curtainsiders, a tilt trailer uses a removable framework fitted to a flatbed trailer. Separate PVC cover sections are then installed over the framework and tensioned using edge eyelets and a lacing system appropriate to the trailer design. The cover provides weather protection for the load but is not intended to provide load restraint. Loads should always be secured independently using suitable load restraint equipment and the trailer's side boards or other approved restraint systems.

Designed for demanding commercial use
Our covers are manufactured to fit accurately and withstand the repeated assembly, dismantling and tensioning associated with tilt trailer operation. Reinforced contact areas help reduce wear where the PVC cover bears against the supporting frame, while optional printed graphics allow operators to maintain a professional fleet appearance or replace damaged branded covers.
TIR-compatible options
Where required, Sapphire can manufacture tilt trailer covers incorporating TIR cable eyelets for applications requiring customs-sealable covers. These features are manufactured to the customer's specification and trailer design.
