Printed curtains
Many new curtains are supplied with printed graphics, ranging from simple block colour branding to complex full-colour designs. Curtain material is printed before manufacture using UV printing technology, allowing graphics to be produced on curtain substrates of virtually any colour, including metallic finishes. Traditional sign-writing techniques are also available where appropriate.
Each printed curtain receives a hardwearing clearcoat to help preserve colour depth while protecting the finished graphics against UV exposure, weather and routine commercial vehicle washing. To maximise service life, the use of TFR (traffic film remover) chemical washes is not recommended.
Replacement curtains and fleet consistency
Where a printed curtain requires replacement, Sapphire can manufacture a new curtain to match an existing fleet design wherever practical, helping maintain a consistent vehicle appearance.
Vehicle graphics and refurbishment
In addition to new vehicles, Sapphire Graphics can remove existing graphics and apply a completely new livery as part of a refurbishment programme. Graphics can be supplied for curtainsiders, box vans, cabs and other vehicles, while sign-writing services can also be carried out on third-party curtains where appropriate.
Colour matching and warranty
Artwork can be colour matched using Pantone or RAL references wherever practical. Some finishes, including metallic and colour-shifting paints, have inherent characteristics that may prevent an exact visual match.
Printed curtains and vinyl graphics are supplied with a five-year warranty.
